As the portfolio grows, so too does the desire to pursue more skills, adventures, tastes and experiences. To see what’s happened so far, I’ve put this site together. I guess blogging is the latest hobby. It will continue changing and growing as I learn. For a bit more info, scroll on down.

Our Cantankerous Research

My partner and I are hoping to open our own bar one day. In the meantime, we’re tasting, trying and exploring how others have been doing it. What works, what does’t, what we like, what we don’t and, most importantly, what we desperately need to learn before we dive into this.

Photography – still a learning curve

As part of my job, I had to learn how to use a camera quick smart. I can take a photo, but not yet a good photo, or even half decent photo. But I’d love to be able to capture something interesting, something fun, something different, so this category stays.

Hooked and Criminally Psyched

I love a good crochet project. But I am incapable of only doing one thing at a time. These days crochet seems to go hand in hand with my Criminal Psychology degree in the making. I’ll post as many links to the patterns I can. Any amendments made along the way will be specified also.

I’ll also quite likely talk about the psychology and criminology I’m struggling through for the duration of whatever project.

Books Books Books

I’m sure it comes as no suprise that I’m into reading. Nerd alert!

But no, seriously, I love books and intend to talk about them all – the good, the bad, the meh.

I also have a fairly diverse interest range, so expect to see everything from true crime to historical romance.
